New Builds for VARCHART XGantt ActiveX and .NET

We have enhanced VARCHART XGantt 4.0 with new features. They are available now.

Practical methods and features

• You can now use the time scale at run time as well as design time by using VcTimeScale.Name.
• Histograms can be deleted using the VcHistogramCollection.DeleteHistogram method.
• The new CurveModified event enables a separate sequence of program code to be run once the changes to a curve have been made.
• The Pattern, PatternColor und BackgroundColor of the calendar grid can now be changed during run time.
• The RoutingType feature of the VcLinkAppearance allows diagonal connections to be made.
   

  The connections can appear as either orthogonal or diagonal using the RoutingType feature

  
   
• To drag from one VARCHART XGantt instance to another one as with OLE Drag & Drop in the ActiveX edition or from another application to VARCHART XGantt and vice versa is now possible in the .NET edition as well.

Elegant moving

Layered objects can now be conveniently moved in one go, as all relevant layers are automatically picked up when you click on the mouse button.

Make hidden appointments and times visible

VARCHART XGantt uses an overlapping layer to show overlapping bars which you can now also display or hide during run time.

Optimizing histograms

• Overloads in the histogram (getOverload) are now calculated with even greater accuracy.
• The scroll bar between Gantt graph and histogram can now be put under the histogram.
• We prevent errors: the border areas of the numerical scales can no longer be interactively enlarged or reduced.
• Upvalue your numerical scales with colour gradients and discover the advantages of improved scalability.
