New Functions in VARCHART XTree 4.2 und VARCHART XNet 4.2
 

The new version 4.2 of our network and tree chart components was released in December 2008. Some of the new functions:
 

• The legend of the chart now cannot only be put out when printed, but also when displayed on the screen.
   
• The resolution of the charts when exported to PNG is not controlled by the size of the main memory any more. This allows for an increased quality in very large charts.
   
• The idea of data driven graphical display was enhanced by the option of using filters in maps. This allows for smaller and more versatile maps.
   
• Interactive functions in the ASP.NET editions have been considerably enhanced. So values of text, number or date fields can now directly be entered by in-place editing. The visible chart section can be scrolled by the slider of horizontal and vertical scroll bars and activities can be moved directly by drag & drop (no phantom and no change of cursor).
